These two were such a joy to photograph. They made my job super easy. We got to play on their grandparent’s property and captured some great images together.
I owe a lot to this family. It was over a year and a half ago when they asked me to photograph their family. I knew during that session that this is what I wanted to do. My photography and style has improved and evolved for the better from that first session but it still remains one of my favorites to date.
I’ve never been to a drive-in movie before. This summer we added it to our Summer Bucket List and we were able to cross it off a few weeks ago. We went to The Family Drive-In Theater .
The only bad thing about the drive-in? Sitting down to watch it. I have a terrible habit of falling asleep during movies. I am going going all day long and when I finally sit down, I crash. Yep. Apparently, the drive-in is no exception. I only made it thru 1/3 of the first movie before it was nighty night for me.
4 generations got together and we captured some awesome images together.
We met at the State Arboretum.
If you are ever in the area or want to take a day trip, I highly recommend it. Great place to picnic, walk/run, and enjoy the beautiful landscape.
After the session was over, I drove around the Arboretum and noticed this guy.
A great ending to a great session.
